Costs and modalities of distance support

The cost of supporting a child at a distance is 1 euro per day.

Several payment options (half-yearly, yearly, quarterly or monthly) are possible, all by bank transfer.

Methods of payment

Transfer

  • Registered to:: AVIAT odv Associazione Volontari Italiani Amici Togo
    IBAN code: IT81Z0846221003000005005843
  • Title: “liberal donation for long-distance support year……….(child’s name)” tax code of the person deducting the benefit.

Payments are deductible in the tax return.

From the moment you sign the long-distance adoption form, you will receive the child’s photo, family references and regular news.

Support does not have a time limit within which it must be concluded: it can last until the child has grown up and become an adult and is able to support himself/herself. The aim of the long-distance support project is to provide continuity in the support provided and we therefore strongly recommend a minimum project duration of three years.

However, it will be possible to withdraw at any time with a minimum of 2 months’ written notice so that the child can be passed on to another supporter.

Adoption at a distance does not entail any legal obligation.
